How can I cancel my subscription?
Purchasing a subscription is binding. Because all subscriptions expire automatically, no extra steps to cancel are necessary.
Will my subscription expire automatically, or will it be continued?
All subscriptions expire automatically. You can, however, purchase another subscription while the current one is still valid. The new subscription will be activated as soon as your old subscription has expired. If you wish to continue streaming music, you must order a new subscription.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) and payment via Pay Pal. You can also pay using your PostFinance Card.
How do I know my user and account information is safe?
Our payment systems are closely monitored to prevent third parties from reading your personal information and to block unauthorised use of your data. These processes guarantee data privacy.
The Bach Foundation uses industry-standard SSL encryption, the highest safety measure currently available for the Internet. In addition, all saved passwords are encrypted. Your credit card information is never saved in our systems.
Can I log in via my social media account?
Yes, you are welcome to log in via your Facebook or Twitter account.
What should I do if I can’t log in?
First check whether you have entered the correct username and password. Be sure you have used the correct case in both fields (check Caps Lock).
You can click “forgot your password?” to reset your password. After entering your e-mail address, you will receive an e-mail with a new password to log in to the system.
If you still can’t log in, please send us an e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with a screenshot of the error message, if possible. We will look for a solution.
This is how to take a screenshot:
(1) Click the “Print” key, generally at the top right of your keyboard. You won’t see anything until you have completed step two.
(2) Open a new Microsoft Word document and perform the command paste (keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + V).
(3) Save the Word document and send it to us in an e-mail email@example.com.

Are the videos always accessible?
Yes, your subscription allows you access to all streaming content at any time.
Are the cantatas also available on CD or DVD?
All videos are produced as DVDs. Click here to see if your video is already available on DVD. The DVDs include the workshop, the cantata and the reflection lecture from the respective concert.
Unlike the DVDs, the CDs are not published chronologically, but according to theme. Each CD has three cantatas (workshops and reflection lectures not included). Please click here to see if the desired cantata is already available on CD.
Can I download the content from the platform?
The videos are offered as streaming content. They are not available for download. You can, however, download and save the audio content.
Do institutions and universities profit from special offers?
Educating today’s young people about Bach’s vocal oeuvre is a declared objective of the J.S. Bach Foundation. Students and teaching staff at universities, conservatories and other educational institutions can profit from our special subscription rates for institutions, and use the artistic and educational information for research and teaching. The content is available via a special login window and can also be accessed outside your institution. To gain access, please register and enter the necessary information.
Do I need special permission to play the videos in the classroom?
No, no permission is required to play our videos in the classroom.
What devices can I use to play the videos?
You can play the videos on all PCs, Mac computers, smartphones and tablets.
What are the system requirements for my computer and Internet connection?
A modern computer (less than 3 years old) and a broadband Internet connection are required. Your computer must at least fulfil the following system requirements:

Processor: Dual Core (2 GHz+)
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Broadband Internet connection (e.g. DSL) from 2000 Kbit/s (recommended: 6000 Kbit/s or more)

Can I access the streaming content from any computer?
Yes, if your subscription is up-to-date, you can log in to our streaming service from any computer at any time.
What browsers are compatible?
For high-quality streaming, you need the latest version of your browser. You can easily stream the videos on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari in the latest version and on Microsoft Internet Explorer version 10 or higher. You will also need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. You can download the player online at Adobe’s website: www.adobe.com
What image and sound format were used for the videos?
Our video signals are produced using high definition and encoded in H.264 standard. We transmit the videos so that they are automatically adjusted to the available broadband of your Internet connection. Alternatively, you have the choice to manually select the transmission when you stream a concert.

Can I watch the videos on my television?
Yes, by connecting your PC, laptop or Mac to your television with a HDMI, DVI or a VGA cable. We are unfortunately not able to answer questions concerning the installation of your PC, TV or stereo equipment.
